Readers should note that while Not in Your Lifetime (published in 1998) was advertised as an updated edition of Mr. Summers' earlier work, Conspiracy (published in 1980), it is almost an entirely different book.

I read this book about eight years ago, and read it again a few weeks ago and still feel it is the best book written on the subject. The reader can draw his/her own conclusions as to the actual events leading up to that day.

In the years that have passed since the publication of Summer's book, we have had perhaps a hundred others that purport to shed more light on the events in Dallas so long ago. After replacing my well worn copy of this book, I decided to reread it.
